These days, young people can do almost everything with just their smartphones.
It seems like fewer and fewer people own a personal computer.
Smartphones are getting bigger screens, but I still can’t believe they can do everything on such a small screen without stress. I’m jealous!
But for me, I prefer a desktop PC. Why? Because it’s much more comfortable for work and entertainment at home!
Why I Choose a Desktop PC
1. Big Screen Makes Work Comfortable!
Smartphones have screens around 6 inches, which are big for a portable device but too small for serious work.
On the other hand, desktops usually have screens of 20 inches or more. (Mine is 23.8 inches!)
A bigger screen is easier on the eyes and makes tasks faster and more enjoyable.
2. Real Multitasking is Possible!
Smartphones can do multitasking with split-screen mode, but on a small screen, it’s not practical.
For example, on my desktop PC, I can read an online article while writing a report. No need to switch between apps, and I can focus on my work.
Also, I can watch YouTube while doing simple tasks on the PC. It makes boring tasks fun and helps me finish them faster.
On my smartphone, switching apps or running multiple apps often slows down the system or causes crashes. That’s so stressful!
3. Better Gaming Experience!
I know smartphone games are very popular now, but I prefer PC or console games.
Why? Because they have better controls and bigger screens for more immersive gameplay.
Even though my PC isn’t very powerful, the games still look much better than on a smartphone. And if you have a high-spec PC, the experience is even better!
Why You Should Try a Desktop PC
Smartphones are great for convenience, but desktops have their own advantages.
If you try using a desktop PC, I’m sure you’ll enjoy the big screen, multitasking, and gaming experiences as much as I do!
